SPONSOR A NEW CANDIDATE

Sponsorship is a way that you, your church, small group, or Sunday School class might choose to be significantly involved in helping move someone out of a morass of trouble and into a job and the positive environment of Masterworks.

The Need

We get calls almost daily from church members, parole officers, social workers and family members asking if we are able to bring on someone who seems a likely candidate for our program. Unfortunately, often the answer is no. As a competitive business, we can only take on personnel as our contracts allow. Yet, with several small business enterprises, an older facility, and two older apartment buildings under our management, there are always many more projects we'd like to tackle than money can budget. As we listen to the stories of these potential candidates, we'd love to bring them on, work with them, and put them to work on our long list of projects.

The Solution

Sponsorship of an individual entails making the financial commitment necessary to give us the freedome to take on a new program participant.

Sponsorship could involve giving us the go-ahead to hire a new employee of our choice by committing to sponsor him for a minimum of one year. On the other hand, you might have someone in mind whom you would like to see begin at Masterworks. If after an interview this individual meets our criteria and is interested in joining our program, you could sponsor someone with whom you already have a relationship.
