Masterworks has a vision for our construction crew that goes beyond simply making money. With many entry-level outsourcing jobs being given to foreign suppliers, it becomes increasingly important to provide job training for our workers in another marketable, dependable skill area. Construction is one of those areas. Our long-range vision is to buy a lower-priced home or duplex which needs significant work, do extensive or complete rehab work on it, and then sell the property enabling the purchase and rehabbing of another. This would provide consistent work in all aspects of construction which would be quite profitable for our program participants upon graduation from Masterworks.

 

Until we have the funding in place for this kind of initial investment, we are tackling various projects, including a total rehab of two apartment buildings in the Philips neighborhood and several home remodeling projects. All of our construction is supervised by an experienced builder/contractor.

 

We are available for projects such as:

•painting

•home remodeling

•landscaping

• brick and stone work

•general labor

 

Currently we do no roofing.
